Pelargonium zonale Scarlet Diamond

Trialled in 1982, Geranium Scarlet Diamond was found to be very early, dwarf and have a compact plant habit with excellent leaf zoning. The variety was sent in by the Walz company and the breeding work was done at PAC Elsner.

Growing:

Sow at 18-22°C directly into the open ground or in greenhouse or frame. Production of 3-5 flower stems already in pot or pack. Transplant at 18°C, 10-14 days after sowing.

11 cm pots, ca. 25/m2, 4/9 cm pots ca. 48-52/m2 , Half hardy, in full sun spot
