- The shiny black foliage on Black Pearl is unique and darker than other dark leaf ornamental peppers. The hot fruit is very shiny black, matures to red and is displayed above the foliage. The variety has an upright rounded habit.

Sow at 23°C in pack in February or in garden mid March, cover with coarse vermiculite, keep medium evenly moist but not satured. Grow on at 18°C - 21°C nights, 20°C - 22°C days. Needs much light, min. 40,000 to 50,000 lux.

- Plant out in 10-12 cm pots or at 25 cm x 25 cm. Tender.
